Trees around the world are barely known. But these trees we dont know, are also getting cut down. Trees are getting cut down for many reasons, but because of these reasons, they are causing the reasons to why the planet is being harmed. People are cutting down more and more trees every second, causing multiple problems for the planet, and even animal life. When people chop down out trees, it can also start to cut down aniamls shelters, or homes. This app is going to help educate you about this problem and how we can help with this.
This is a Bur Oak tree! sadly, this tree gets cut down the most out of any other tree. These trees are cut down for cabinetry, barrels, hardwood flooring, and fence posts. Forests around the world are getting cut down for many of peoples houses and needs. If this tree disapered, it would also be a threat to animal life. The acorns are eaten by many birds and mammals, including squirrels, rabbits, ground squirrels, mice, deer, wood ducks, and blue jays. They are dispersed by rodents and blue jays, which frequently cache the acorns for later use. The foliage is eaten by deer and cattle.
You might wonder, is there anyway we can help? Answer is yes! By consuming less, avoiding single-use packaging, eating sustainable food, and choosing recycled or responsibly-produced wood products. It might not help alot, but it will help enough. We can all be part of the movement to protect forests. A few more ways we can help is to engage in tree-planting initiatives in your community, or also through global organizations. Reduce paper consumption by going digital at home and in the office, (When you do need to print, use both sides of the paper), and choose to support companies that are committed to reducing deforestation and use sustainable practices. Recycling can help with this problem as well. A single piece of wood can be reused and recycled through a succession of different products, reducing the volume of virgin wood that needs to be harvested from forests. This, combined with clean manufacturing technologies and innovative product designs, can deliver low carbon products with less pressure on the forests around the globe.
