World Biomes

According to National Geographic, there are at least five types of major biomes on earth: aquatic, grassland, forest, desert, and tundra. Each biome has its own subtypes.

We'll focus on aquatic and forest biomes.

Aquatic

A group of stingray under the ocean

Aquatic biomes consist of bodies of water.

Forest

Forest of trees with sunlight just coming through the leaves

Forest biomes have many trees.
