Final Project Showcase

Some details

Final problem statement: School students feel inconvenienced and frustrated by lunch line waits that waste their lunch period, so they need a way to get lunch without standing in a long line

Final persona:

Summary of feedback

During testing, I received a ton of interesting feedback and actionable items I didn't even think of, including but not limited to: issues with the mobile interface, some confusion with how to interact with the app, opportunities to simplify the user experience, mobile accessibility suggestions, etc. Testers also made interesting suggestions for features, like a menu for accessory items or reworked visual themes. While I didn't implement all of this feedback for the sake of simplicity, this gave me many new insights into my work from an outside point-of-view, and I believe the feedback allowed me to improve my app and make it more engaging and accessible.

Final reflection

Overall, this project has been a way for me to improve my skills massively across numerous parts of the Design Thinking Process. It improved my technical skills and my interpersonal skills. Furthermore, this project allowed me to realize an idea that I had been thinking about for a long time, which makes this personally significant to me as well.
