How I Code In Scratch.

Dylan Chamberlain

I First Started Coding In Around 4th Grade When Covid Was Locking The U.S.A. Down, And I Tried To Find Something To Do When My Family Was Stuck Home, When I Looked At My YouTube Recommendations, There Were Alot Of Videos Of Someone Making A Game In A Day, And I Figured, "Maybe I Should Make My Own Game!" I Found A Virtual School For Coding Called "Techability" And My Teacher Helped Me Make A Racing Game On Unity! When I Made My Own Racing Game, "Tech Racing" I Left Techability Since I Knew How To Code Easily, But Then One Of My Friend's Told Me About This Coding Website Called, "Scratch" I Tried It Out To See Why My Friends Liked It, And I Fell In Love With Scratch! I Have Started A Game Series Called, "Zombie Killer" On Scratch And Coded Over 25 Projects On Scratch By My Self! I Adore Coding!
What Got Me Into Coding?
I Now Code Projects In My Free Time And Currently As Of 6/20/23, I Am Working On The Fourth Zombie Killer Game, It Is Released Now, But I Am Putting My Best Effort Into It So I Can Fix Bugs And Put New Updates In! If You Want To See The Games I Have Created, Go To scratch.mit.edu/users/fa2bearb01 !
What Do I Do Now?
I Usually Make Strategy Games, Horror Games, And Even 3-D Games Inside Of A 2-D Game Engine! I Used A Scratch Extension Called Pen, And I Coded It So Every Time The Player Is Pointing At A Wall, It Draws A Line On The Screen One At A Time Until The Whole Map Is Rendered, This Process Is Called, "Ray-Casting"
