Low-Fidelity Prototype — Sketch Step by Step
This sketch shows how the Low-Fidelity Prototype was planned before the screens were connected and tested.
Sketch the Home Screen
I started by planning the main home screen. The screen introduces Life on Land and gives users quick access to Forests, Wildlife, Habitats, and Local Activities.
Sketch the Topics Screen
Next, I created a Topics screen so users could choose the conservation area they wanted to learn about.
Sketch Topic Details
I then planned a detail screen that explains the selected topic and gives the user a way to find related activities.
Sketch Activities
After the topic screen, I planned a list of conservation activities connected to the selected topic.
Sketch Activity Details
I added an activity details screen so users could understand the location, purpose, items needed, and description before joining.
Sketch Confirmation
Finally, I planned a confirmation screen to let users know that they successfully joined the conservation activity.
Connect and Test the Prototype
After sketching each screen, I connected the screens with JavaScript. I tested the buttons, menus, activity filters, topic selections, Join Activity buttons, and confirmation screens to make sure the user could move through the complete experience.

What We Built
We created a Life on Land Low-Fidelity Prototype that allows users to explore Forests, Wildlife, and Habitat Protection, find activities, view activity details, join an activity, and receive confirmation.
Iteration
The prototype was improved by connecting each topic to its own activities and by adding navigation, activity filters, activity details, and confirmation.
