the chicago cubs team was origanly founded in 1876 by Charles Weeghman and its maden or origanal name was the Chicago White Stockings.<
They origanly played at the wast side grounds in chicago ill.
They competed for the world championchip in 2016 and won!
- There was origanly 28 players on the team and right now they have about 300 full time employees
- The Cubs had a few other names until it came to the one we now today such as,The Chicago white stockings (1876-1889), The Chicago Cults (1890-1897),The chicago orphans (1898-1902) and ass we know them today the chicago cubs (1903-present)
