This movie is about a guy named victor who is getting married to victoria. He is very clumsy and forgetful, so when he is practicing his vows in the forest he accidently marries emily the corpse bride. Emily takes him to the under world, where he tries to escape. Emily catches up to him and gives him a wedding gift his dog who died and went down to the under world. He tells Emily that she should meet his parents in the living world. Lord Barkis is evil as we find out. Instead of victor getting his parents, he goes to victoria. While he is talking to victoria, corpse bride comes and brings him back to the underworld. Victoria tells her parents victor needs help. They don't listen to her ad they lock her up. She escapes to the church and the pastor brings her back to her house. In the underworld, emily is sad and victor accidently says he would never marry her. She runs away sad. Then, they have a piano duet. While he is in the underworld, Victoria's parents has decide for her to marry Lord Barkis. She is very sad on her wedding. In the bar in the under world, victors old servant is there, he tells him that victoria is getting married to lord barkis. So him and emily make a plan to go "upsairs" and have a wedding party. The dead make choas in the real world. Lord Barkis hides and victoria escapes him to go to the church. Victor and Victoria are reunited. But, Lord Barkis comes and says " but I am still married to her." Emily says, "you left me.... for dead." Then lord barkis grabs victoria. Victor says "get your hands off her." Lord barkis grabs a sword and victor gets thrown a fork. They have a battle, and at the end when it looks like lord barkis is going to kill victor. Emily steps in and takes the sword which did not kill her(already dead.)She says,"GET OUT." He is like,"of course but first a toast to emily... Always the bridesmaid never the bride. love you dear. can a heart still break after its stoppped beating."The worm says"let me at him sir let me at him." The priest is like,"we must abide by there woes, we are amongst the living." Then lord barkis drinks poisin and almost makes it out the door but dies. The worm says,"not for long." Then the dead attack him. Corpse bride is walking away and victor says,"wait I promised." Emily says,"you kept your promise, you set me free." Then she turns into butterflies.
